He is also known as Bharatiyar and The Mahakavi. Though He was A patriot Of Tamil Language he was proficient In 14 other languages such as Bengali, Hindi Sanskrit, Kucch ,English, Latin, Greek, French etc.Thus He rightfully said:- " யாமறிந்த மொழிகளிலே தமிழ்மொழி போல் இனிதாவது எங்கும் காணோம் " புதிய ஆத்திசூடி ( A few which awakens) தன்மை இழவேல் தாழ்ந்து நடவேல் திருவினை வென்று வாழ் தீயோர்க்கு அஞ்சேல் துன்பம் மறந்திடு தூற்றுதல் ஒழி தெய்வம் நீ என்றுணர் தேசத்தைக் காத்தல் செய் தையலை உயர்
